We are honored to announce:
FEARLESS honors all past, present, and future female student-athletes of Oregon State. It recognizes the excellence of our female student-athletes, educates our community about the many ways OSU Athletics and our women’s programs have redefined excellence in women’s sports, and encourages Beavers everywhere to give to the future of women’s athletics at OSU. FEARLESS is inspired by the 50th anniversary of Title IX, which prohibited discrimination based on gender in educational institutions that receive federal funding and greatly impacted college athletics.
FEARLESS is intended to raise funds in a multitude of areas including, but not limited to:
- Student-athlete scholarships, development, and mental health
- Facility construction and renovations
- Equipment upgrades
- Subsidizing travel needs
FEARLESS encourages student-athlete alumnae to support their sport's discretionary funds.
FEARLESS provides the opportunity to support a specific area of the athletic department benefiting our women's programs through:
- Creating a named scholarship or programmatic endowment that will last in perpetuity
- Investing in capital facility projects directly related to our women's programs
- Leaving a legacy by including our women's programs in your estate plans
