Jacque Bruns was promoted to Associate Athletic Director/Chief Financial Officer in September of 2017 after serving as the Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations in December of 2014.
Bruns, formerly an assistant athletic director of business operations for nearly three years, is responsible for the oversight and management of the department’s budget. Her duties also include fiscal strategic planning, supervision and leadership, scheduling contracts, travel budgets, payroll, audits and other assigned duties.
Bruns began her professional career at OSU in 2004 as an intern in the athletic business office. She then moved to positions in the Beavers’ compliance office, as an insurance coordinator and to business office manager.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in athletic administration from OSU in 2005. Burns followed with a master’s in business administration from OSU in 2009.
Bruns is a native of Lakeview, Ore., and she and her husband Darrick, a former Beaver football student-athlete, are the parents of children Henry and Avery.
