Lindsey Goodman

Lindsey Goodman was appointed Director of Life Skills on March 28, 2016.  Goodman oversees the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), assists in all Professional Development programming as well as several Everyday Champion signature programs. In addition, she is the liaison to campus programs and resources, and oversees events related to Student-Athlete Development.

Goodman arrived at Oregon State after serving as the University of Montana’s Football Academic Advisor and Life Skills Coordinator since 2013.  During her tenure at UM, as the Life Skills Coordinator, she served as the liaison to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).  While there, she was able to help Montana become one of the top tier SAAC’s in the Big Sky Conference winning the Conference Cup trophy for the 2014-2015 academic year.  She was also able to re-vamp the community service program, bringing the total student-athlete volunteer hour count from 700 to over 3,100.  She served as an adjunct professor teaching a for-credit course for all incoming freshmen student-athletes, and designed the syllabus, lesson plans, and assignments for a secondary life skills based courses.

Goodman started her professional career at Boise State University, serving as an intern in Student-Athlete Development, followed by a position in academics.  From there she had an opportunity to work at UCLA, serving as a football academic mentor during the 2012-2013 academic year.

She earned First-Team All-WAC status in the heptathlon and pentathlon at the University of Idaho where she graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in sport science with a minor in psychology. She earned her Master’s in athletic administration from Idaho State University in 2011. 

She is a native of Boise, Idaho.
